2015/16 Annual Report Creative Direction and Design for Rotman Commerce at University of Toronto
We were challenged with a shorter than usual project timeline, which meant we had to find solutions that could be implemented quickly. Chasing down stories from multiple sources and scheduling on-location photo shoots wasn’t possible. The winning concept was We Are Connected. The book’s design was developed using visual connection (original artwork by Stephanie Cormier, close up in slide 3) to illustrate the integration of the school, business and the global economy.
The cover image was created with a piece of string art which was beautifully photographed by James Kachan. String in the colours of Rotman Commerce, woven around nails on a board—the piece currently hangs in the client's office.
